Our company was founded when my BMW e63 electronic steering wheel lock (ELV) fault started. Of course, the dealer wants to replace the entire steering column right away. I think you know how much that costs. That’s absolutely not reasonable.
At this point, we started to search for the solution. After some research, we stated that it is a common fault in BMW E-series and MINIs manufactured between 2004 and 2014. Maybe BMW engineers also recognized the problems with these modules. As a result, BMW’s factory has halted further installation of these modules in model years 2014 and later.
However, they have not provided any solution to BMW and Mini owners whose cars are already equipped with this faulty modul. There was no factory recall and no help at all.
We stated at this point that if the BMW factory has stopped installing these modules since 2014, we can do the same. But if you simply unplug the ELV module from the car, it will not start or crank at all. At this moment, the idea of an ELV emulator was born and the development started.
If you are in the same situation, you are in the right place. We have already developed this device with a lot of work and much more testing. This story was a success, finally. We solved the problem perfectly, and now we can help you too.
